Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Flossworks Cross-Stitch LLC ("we," "us," or "our") handles information in connection with the Flossworks – Stitch & Track mobile application (the "App"). It applies to the App and to this website.
Information we collect
We do not collect personal information through the App. The App runs offline and has no ability to send data from your device to us or to any third party. We do not operate servers that receive your data, and we do not use analytics or tracking tools inside the App.
Information you provide
You can enter content into the App — for example, naming a project, adjusting a pattern, or recording your stitching progress. This information is stored locally on your device. It is not sent to us.
Imported images and pattern/project data
When you create a pattern from a picture, the image you choose is processed on your device to generate a cross-stitch chart. Imported images, generated patterns, project details, and stitch-tracking progress are stored locally on your device. We never upload, view, or receive these images or files.
The App can export a project as a backup file (for example, a .flossworks file) or other shareable output. When you choose to export or share a file, you control where it goes using your device's own sharing features. Anything you share that way is handled by the apps and services you select, under their own privacy policies.
Device and local storage
The App stores its data in your device's app storage (and, where you choose, in files you save or export). This data remains under your control. Removing the data — by deleting it within the App or uninstalling the App — removes it from your device.
Accounts and login
The App does not require or offer user accounts, sign-in, or registration. There is no profile to create and no credentials for us to store.
Analytics and crash reporting
The App does not include analytics, usage tracking, or crash-reporting tools. We do not receive reports about how you use the App or about errors on your device.
Advertising
The App does not contain third-party advertising and does not use advertising identifiers.
Purchases
If the App offers in-app purchases (for example, a one-time unlock of additional features), those purchases are processed by Google Play Billing. Google handles the payment and any related billing information. We do not receive or store your payment card details. Google's handling of purchase information is governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
Data sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties. Because the App does not transmit your data off your device, there is no data for us to share. The only sharing that occurs is sharing you initiate yourself (such as exporting a backup file).
Data retention
Because your data is stored on your device rather than on our servers, it is retained for as long as you keep it on your device. You can delete it at any time, as described below.
Children's privacy
The App is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because the App does not collect personal information from anyone, it does not collect personal information from children.
Your choices and deletion requests
You are in control of your data:
- Delete in-app: Remove projects or reset progress using the App's own controls.
- Uninstall: Uninstalling the App removes its locally stored data from your device.
- Exported files: Delete any backup or export files you created, wherever you saved them.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Effective date" above. Significant changes will be reflected on this page.
